Welcome to our workshop bushcraft courses, but certain parts of this particular course may be held outside,

On course days you start at 9,00 am and finishes at 5,00 pm, Included in your course fee travel to and from local Train Station or Airport (www.gpia.co.uk), and transport to and from your B&B although B&B fees not covered, alternatively you may wish to bring a tent and camp out in a secluded area near us, We can point you in the right direction,

Teas, Coffees, Biscuits all day long

What your Course involves

For this 2 Day Bow Making Course you do not need to have any experience as you will be taught the art of Bow Making, This course is suitable for everyone,

You will be making a Longbow from one of our hand selected blanks in hardwood,

At the end of the course you will be taking home a finished Long Bow which you can use and learn at home to shoot and hit your target every time,

Normal size is approx 6ft although we may recommend a slightly smaller poundage bow for younger or smaller people,

On this course you will be using basic hand tools, and you will finish your bow to your choice, should it be lacquered, scorched, waxed or dyed, Maybe you would fancy a leather handle,

We will provide you with a bow cover to take your Long Bow home in, Not only does it protect your bow but it would not be a great idea to go through the airport with an uncovered Long Bow,

Also for an additional cost we can supply extra blank staves for you to take home,

We are always at the end of the phone or email for past course participants,

All these workshop courses are restricted in numbers, due to one and one tuition,

If you and a friend or more require a private course email with preferred dates (they have to be midweek),  In extreme cases individuals may have a private course but course fees will be slightly different, just email,
