Welcome to our workshop bushcraft courses, but certain parts of this particular course may be held outside,
This course starts at 9,00 am and finishes at 5,00 pm, Included in your course fee travel to and from local Train Station or Airport (www.gpia.co.uk),

What your Course involves
This 1 Day Course is very informative and relaxed, You will be given your own Flint and Steel Kit with which you will learn the primitive skill of lighting fire, Your Fire Steel will be of high quality Carbon Steel and along with it you will be given shards of good quality Flint,
Unlike todays manmade rods the Flint and Steel produces sparks of a very low temperature, Todays modern Fire Steels produce hundreds of high temperature sparks, You will learn the skill of using your Flint and Steel,
On this Flint and Steel Bushcraft Course you will go back in time and make fire the primitive way, the way our ancestors did,
Learn the best things to catch your spark and then turn that little spark into a flame, Takes practice,
You will also learn different types of Fungi, how to source the Fungi, how to dry the Fungi, and how to use correctly,
You will also make your own char cotton and this you will take home as well in its own tin,
Also you will make a leather pouch to carry your Flint and Steel plus tinder,
And you will be introduced to 3 or 4 different sorts of tinder and you will discover which is the best tinder for you,
Lastly don't forget you will be taking home your Flint and Steel, char cotton, tinder, in a leather pouch,
