2 Day Course

Welcome to our workshop bushcraft courses, but certain parts of this particular course may be held outside,

On course days you start at 9,00 am and finishes at 5,00 pm, Included in your course fee travel to and from local Train Station or Airport (www.gpia.co.uk), and transport to and from your B&B although B&B fees not covered, alternatively you may wish to bring a tent and camp out in a secluded area near us, We can point you in the right direction,

What your Course involves

A 2 Day Knife Forging Course which will take you down the path of forging with new steel as well as old steel, We will take materials such as in picture A and transform them into picture B, knife cutting tools or implements,

Imagine taking an old horshoe and turning that into a knife for working with, or an old car spring and turn that into a knife or tool,

You will learn how to use and manage a coke forge properly, This is what you will use to forge your unique knives or tools, We will also learn you how to make and use a 5 minute forge, this can be used in the field, As it is aptly named it takes 5 minutes to make and start using to forge your steel, and we use one to retemper and repair our tools,

We will give you extra steel to practice at home as well as a 5 minute forge to take home,

We are always at the end of the phone or email for past course participants,

All these workshop courses are restricted in numbers, due to one and one tuition,

If you and a friend or more require a private course email with preferred dates (they have to be midweek),  In extreme cases individuals may have a private course but course fees will be slightly different, just email,
