6ft Hickory Long Bow

These DIY Bows will arrive to you needing finished,

72" (6ft) Hickory Bow wth riser materials

These are the same as our standard 6ft Bow but

will come to you with an additional 2 blocks of beautiful or exotic hardwoods

Which when cut into thinner plates and bonded alternatively

will create a laminated riser

When you start to shape this riser you will cut own through multiple layers

to create an reveal the fantastic grain through various layers

This is very hard to describe, but there are finished pictures below to show you

These can be stained, scorched or personalised in whatever way you want

These staves are generally about 60lb - 70lb, to reduce the draw weight you will need

to remove timber off both the limbs evenly using a scraper or sander
