I have put this package together

I have completely finished the Axe Head

and it has my A Finlay Stamp on it

It will come to you in a box

With a slab of good quality 

Vertical Grained HICKORY

Which will have a suggested cutting pattern stenciled onto it

This is only a guide, you can go with whatever shape you want

The idea of this kit is to let you have the pleasure

of Shaping the Axe handle (haft) yourself

Be this in your workshop or garage or

be it round the camp fire in the woods

Either way you will achieve great satisfaction

of both your work and mine together

PLUS

This axe is purposely designed to be of great use as a main tool

Its as happy being used as a carving tool as it is splitting logs for the fire

Blade measures approx

Length 16cm (6 1/4")

Cutting edge 8cm (3 1/2")

It holds a razor sharp cutting edge due to the angles

Hardening process it has been put through
